The First day of AICTE Induction Programme-II , was Inaugurated by Honable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar, Chief Guest, Mr. Madikere Gopal, Chaiman, Mysore Kannada Saahithya Parishath, Sri Chandrashekar Former Chaiman, Mysore Kannada Saahithya Parishath. Prof. R Shivappa, Registrar, Prof A P Gnana Prakash, Registrar(Evaluation), University of Mysore, Prof.T Ananthpadmanabha, Director, Mysore University School of Engineering and Dr.Chethan H.K, Special Officer of University of Mysore was present during the program.
Honable Vice-Chancellor, spoke that Mysore University School of Engineering (MUSE), is one of the first Technical college affiliated to Mysore University approved by AICTE, New Delhi. He addressed that this technical institute has come with world class infrastructure; qualified staff under the NEP policy and going it is heading towards the structured planning of students’ placement activities.
Followed by the speech of Honable Vice-Chancellor, Chief Guest, Mr. Madikere Gopal gave a speech that University of Mysore is not just a place to gain knowledge but it is the place of obtaining students with talents in various fields, he briefed that kannada language has about 2000 years of History. He gave an example about a girl from Italy came to university of Mysore to lean kannada, at the end of learning process, she wrote a Kadambari. He also told that about nine persons from Karnataka state have won Gnana Peeta Prashasti.
Sri Chandrashekar Former Chaiman, Mysore Kannada Saahithya Parishath, told that it is the major roles and responsibity of every individual to respect the kannada language, it is one of the richest language found in Brahmi scripts. He said the language is the reflection of cultural and language. India is diversified language system. Kannada has major contribution. The braverness of Kanadigas is pollularly all over country. Honable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar, Chief Guest, Mr. Madikere Gopal were present during the services. He said that Vachana Sahithya, teaches to prioritize Language. The Event Convener Mr.Sachin H.R, Assistant Professor and Faculty Member Co-ordinators, Dr.Sunil.C ,Mr.Nithin S.K Assistant Professors and all Teaching Faculty members coordinated for the program.
