In the inagraugral function of the Sports Activities as part of AICTE Induction Programme-II was held on 03/06/2022. A welcome was given to Chief guests, Kumari Ambika, Kelo India University Games Short Put Gold Medalist 2022 , Col RR Menon, Group Commander, NCC Group Head Quarter, Mysore and Prof.R.Shivappa, Registrar, University of Mysore. A brief introduction was given by Mr.Ravi T.S Assistant Director of Dept Physical Education, UoM. Kumari Ambika talked about the sportiveness importance of participation of students in all sports event irrespective of losing and winning the game. She briefed about the importance of sports its advantages to students in various government job opportunities. Col RR Menon, Group Commander, NCC Group Head Quarter, Mysore addressed the gathering regarding to take the entire sports event challengingly and participate with team spirit. He also told that separate NCC unit will be setting up in the Mysore University School of Engineering, Manasagangotri Mysuru.
Followed by the speech of Chief Guests, Prof. R. Shivappa, Registrar, University of Mysore told that students need to develop interest in sports activities along with studies in technical areas such as Robotics, Computers and Data sciences. He also told to explore hidden sports talent and support them to fulfill their dreams. Prof Ananthapadmanabha.T, Director, Mysore University School of Engineering briefed about the AICTE induction program and told all the students to take part in sports event challengingly, later A thanks note and Honor was given to Chief guests and Registrar as token of Gratitude.
After the inaugural function, Oath ceremony was gone by Col RR Menon, Group Commander, NCC Group Head Quarter, Mysore. Later the various sports events 100 meters running, short put, long jump, cricket and through ball was organized and conducted for students and staff. After the completion of all sports events prize distribution for winners was given Director of Mysore University of School of Engineering.

B Assistant Professor & Sports Secretary, and Dr.Mahadevaswamy, Assistant Professors Dept. of Mathematics and all Teaching Faculty members of Mysore University School of Engineering coordinated for the program.
