A library is more than just books - although we have plenty of them too. It is home to special collections, exhibitions, quiet and loud study areas, and a host of electronic resources including online books and e-journals. The college Library is open to staff and students and has thousands of books and subscribes to numerous current academic and technical journals. The library maintains a reference section of all books on the current course reading lists, holds complete sets of examination papers and model answers for the use of students. Both access and borrowing rights are extremely generous.

The friendly and approachable library staffs are happy to answer queries, arrange inter-library loans and receive suggestions for new acquisitions. Students will also have access to the University library.

State-of-the-art labs are available for all our students providing a modern design-and-make space. It is the workspace in which Engineering students can develop their creativity and enthusiasm for Engineering, providing a home not only for the design, build and test projects that are a core activity within the teaching programme but also for the extracurricular student-led projects. The aim is to provide facilities for students to explore individual or small-group projects.

Students will be able to come together to think, exchange ideas, design, experiment, and build. They will have access to facilities for prototyping and making, using traditional hand- and machine-tools, and also modern computer-controlled machinery.

To improve the employability of our students we have a dedicated department that provides career advice. The aim is to help them formulate and implement well-informed choices about their careers. We have good collaboration with reputed companies that can help our students with internships as well as full time employment after graduation.

Whether it’s going for a walk to take a break from your studies, or keeping up your individual training or to take your place in Intervarsity matches, everyone can get active. Get involved in sport and physical activity, no matter how seriously or casually you wish to take it. There are many benefits, from mental health, through to life expectancy and even academic performance. Physical fitness is vital for good mental wellbeing.

Cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, badminton, athletics, swimming etc. are available.

Whatever your fitness goals, experience or level of ability there is something for everyone. The gym on campus has excellent indoor and outdoor facilities, amazing choice of diverse equipment and locker facility for staff and students only.

We have a world class auditorium fitted with the best audio-visual equipment, communication system and seating to have large gatherings.

The canteen offers a range of good quality foods at student-friendly prices for our staff and students.

Our classrooms are modern and fully equipped with audio-visual equipment to aid in teaching and learning.

We have adequate computers with hi-speed internet for students and staff along with free/subsidised access to printers and photocopying machines for course related work.

The well-designed conference hall is equipped with advanced audio-visual and communication systems.

On campus hostels / University hostels for students with comfortable private rooms and shared dormitories are available. The hostels have canteens serving good quality food and recreation rooms with TV and internet for social interaction.

We understand that coming to university can be stressful as well as exciting. The pressures of academic life, being away from your family and financial demands can all cause difficulties. Looking after your mental health is just as important as your physical health. We offer friendly, informal, confidential support counselling for a variety of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, bereavement, self-esteem and many others.

Socialising is an important part of university life, but can become a problem if drugs and/or alcohol are added to the mix. We're here to help you understand and explore the impact different substances can have on your health and personal/social life.

We take security very seriously. Every staff and student member should feel safe when on campus.

We have a strong commitment to supporting and celebrating our diverse community. We want you to feel safe and welcome. Harassment, bullying and hate crimes can take many different forms from race and religion to sexual orientation and identity to disabilities. It's important that you know how to recognise and report them. There is a confidential reporting service and all reports will be passed to the correct team who will respond as soon as possible.

We have a team that aims to provide staff and students with information about sexual consent as well as tackle the myths and misunderstandings about sexual consent, rape and sexual abuse.

We have set up CCTV systems; crime/incident reporting system; routine patrols; checking, locking and unlocking buildings; recording, safekeeping and disposal of all found property; provision of university card support, including enquiry desk and helpline, sound level monitoring of events and parties.
